CHICAGO — Fitch Ratings has affirmed the following ratings for IDEX Corporation
(NYSE: IEX):
–Issuer Default Rating (IDR) at ‘BBB ‘;
–Senior unsecured bank facilities at ‘BBB ‘.
The Rating Outlook is Stable. There was approximately $470 million of
debt as of June 30, 2010.
The ratings reflect IDEX’s steady free cash flows, stable credit metrics
and leading positions in diversified niche markets. IDEX continued to
focus on conservative financial measures and was able to maintain solid
operating results during the recent economic downturn. IDEX’s leverage
was estimated at approximately 1.6 times (x) for the latest 12 months
(LTM) ended June 30, 2010. Fitch expects IDEX will temporarily increase
leverage to over 2x at the end of 2010, but metrics should return to the
1.5x-1.8x levels by the end of 2011. IDEX plans to issue term debt at
the end of 2010. Fitch anticipates that IDEX will use the proceeds to
refinance short-term debt maturing in early 2011. Leverage expectations
in 2010 and 2011 also include the possibility of increased acquisition
activity to similar spending levels in 2006 and 2008 of over $300
million. In 2009, IDEX halted discretionary spending as it reduced debt,
but has completed an acquisition for $54 million in the first half of
2010.
The concerns regarding IDEX’s leverage and integration risks are offset
by the company’s ability to generate on average over $100 million of
free cash flow each year and its disciplined approach to acquisitions.
Free cash flows in 2009 were nearly $150 million and should be over $100
million in 2010 as well. Fitch anticipates that if leverage were to
increase due to acquisition spending that IDEX would be able to quickly
delever as the company has done in the past. IDEX views acquisitions a
key strategy for growth over the next few years. Fundamental to IDEX’s
growth is the company’s focus on businesses that offer profitable niche
products that can be accretive quickly, particularly in its Fluid &
Metering Technologies (FMT) and Health & Sciences Technologies (HST)
segments.
An anticipated recovery in organic sales in the 10% – 15% within IDEX’s
FMT and HST segments partially supports expected high-single digit
increases in revenues in 2010

The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), which will spend P3.3 billion for a new complete line banknote printing and finishing equipment this year, is soliciting proposals for the rehabilitation of existing printing machines to complement the arrival of the new equipment. In a report to the Monetary Board, BSP’s Banknotes and Securities Printing Department said they have received two proposals from KBA Giori of Switzerland and Germany and Shiremoor International of the United Kingdom for the repair and refurbishing of three presses, part of the P5.7-billion rehabilitation program.KBA Giori is one of the bidders for the new superline printer while Shiremoor International provides engineering services to banknote printers. The proposals are for the rehabilitation of the Security Plant Complex’s (SPC) Simultan Press, Intaglio Press and Numerota Press.SPC Director Nestor B.
Solanio has assured the Monetary Board that the rehabilitation program will “not have adverse effect on the (SPC) production schedule.” Solanio said the Simultan Press’s rehabilitation will be done in-house and will only commence once the new complete line banknote printing and finishing equipment is installed. The Intaglio Press and Numerota Press, in the meantime, will have to be repaired outside of the SPC.The two units will have to be completely rehabilitated.Last June 25, the central bank’s Bids and Awards Committee headed by Assistant Governor Juan de Zuniga Jr. conducted a pre-bid conference for the purchase of the new P3.3 billion printing machine. Regarding the future of “A” frame sidewalk signs downtown: A prime example of the effective use of these signs is on 100 South between Main and West Temple (specifically Cafe Molise restaurant, Oxford Shop shoe store and Utah Artist Hands art gallery.)
These signs, especially those on the corners, are responsible for approximately 25 percent of our business. They are inexpensive and effective, a major key to our successful operation and help add to the revitalization of downtown. They add character and life to our block and, to our knowledge, no one has ever complained.
As you have stated, some areas of the city have had numerous complaints, and the law should be enforced in these areas. But, please do not hurt us drastically in a neighborhood where our neighbors not only do not complain but seem to support us.

CHEYENNE – Michael Guli stitches strips of buffalo hide into a pair of handmade moccasins.
His tools stretch out over the slightly-shaded red picnic table that has become his workshop for the week. The low-top moccasins will go home with a Missouri resident. The longer strips of dark brown next to his right elbow will become an ankle-high pair for a man from Italy.
Guli is busy preparing special orders, but he often invites guests into his makeshift office to learn about the clothing, characters and history of the Old West.
“It’s the ‘Daddy of ‘em All,’ and I specialize in the history of that time period,” he said. “Could you see me under the grandstands?”

Booming market in stolen details; SKIMMING FALLOUT
0 Comments | Dominion Post; Wellington, New Zealand, Apr 17, 2009 | by WATT Emily
CREDIT CARD theft is now so commonplace that stolen card information is being sold on the black market for as little as 10 cents, an international report says.
Thieves were also peddling stolen bank account details, email accounts, and even full identities, the report, by computer security company Symantec, found.
Credit cards were the most widely advertised for sale because they were easy to steal and “cash up”. Crooks could buy the card information in bulk lots of 5000.
Experts say thousands of New Zealanders have their card details stolen each year, either by thieves hacking into online shopping websites, when they travel overseas, or as victims of skimming, where electronic card readers are installed on ATM machines.
Terry Mortensen, Westpac Bank head of fraud and security services, said fraud was becoming more complicated and banks worked fulltime to keep up with the scams.
Where once stolen cards used to be used fairly quickly – making it easy to detect and cancel the card – overseas fraudsters now bought the card details in bulk and stockpiled them for later use, making it difficult to detect where or when the information was stolen.
“To say it’s organised is probably the understatement of the year,” he said.
The information often ended up back in the country, transferred on to blank cards with a magnetic strip, or even a phone card, which could be used in ATM machines.
Some New Zealand banks, including Westpac, were so concerned about the card skimming overseas they had begun cancelling and replacing cards when travellers returned, to prevent fraud.
Mr Mortensen said banks were shouldering the costs of the fraud and it was very difficult to persuade international police to do something about it.
“It’s costing banks tens of millions of dollars in Australia and New Zealand alone.”
The Symantec report, compiled by monitoring nearly 250,000 online sensors and setting up more than 2.5 million decoy email accounts, said credit cards for sale on the black market included credit card numbers and expiry dates. More detailed information, including the name of a card holder, billing address, phone number and pin could sell for NZ$52.
Thieves were also selling bank account details, popular because they do not have the credit limit of credit cards. Researchers found one $400,000 bank account advertised for sale for $600. Email addresses and log-ons were also increasingly offered for sale

If the front stalls like it has this weekend in Ohio, then the opposite is true. It will seem like the bass has a zipper on their mouth. Well, you can do one of two things, you can stay home and wait for the front to move or you can go fishing and learn the tricks you need to know to catch bass.
Here are a few tricks that will work if you use them.
1. Try a lipless crankbait and retrieve it fast for a reaction bite.
2. Flip or pitch in shallow cover, remember the bass will hold tight to shallow cover.
3. Find stained and dirty water and slow down your presentation to a crawl.
4. Try a lure such as a Charlie?s Twitchin Shad or Fluke and retrieve it so it makes a wave right under the surface.
5. Find current, the fish there could care less about the cold front.

People have largely used the bottled water dispensers in home and an office, when it comes to office it is a difficult task to change the bottles again and again and for this the mains fed water cooler is now in vogue.
It is a fact that many public areas drinking water are labeled safe but again as the safe water is supplied through the pipelines, the risk factor remains. Numbers of pollutants remain within the pipelines. The testing method is often not disclosed to the common people. Installing a water filtration system in the office is always prudent idea. This safeguards health of the employees and keep them motivated. Therefore, using a office water coolers fitted with water cooler filters is one good way to assure one is drinking pure and cleaner water.
In case of using the bottled water there is always a requirement of monitoring and for this a person needs to be involved. Again the bottle filled with purified water must be supplied regularly. Though many of the bottled water providers claim that the bottles are recycled, the reality differs. They are reused many times instead of recycling. So, indeed it is a difficult task to use the water dispenser fitted with the bottled water. It is best to check out the available water filters just by sitting in front of the laptop

Now that you’ve got your site live, and applied basic seo principals, you’ll start to see some decent traffic. The most important part of being an authority is to become number one under a few of your keywords in a search engine (yahoo / google / msn are the biggest 3). Once you’ve achieved that, your site will be recieving very bulk amounts of hits. You’re probably thinking, duh, no kidding, with all that traffic my adsense would sky rocket! Or, my affiliate program would be huge with that!
WRONG! Don’t think small, think unrealistic! Wouldn’t you rather make unrealistic amounts of money than normal, every day ho hum chump change? Make your own product, the easiest way to do this is write your own ebook. Write a good guide, a good story, some good advice, just write something halfway good. Since YOUR the authority, people will be clamoring to buy your book. After all, your the best.
Now, if you want to take this a step further, and I know you do, then you’ll want to create a few sister sites, all more orientated toward profit.
